Our home decor pieces are rooted in craftsmanship and thoughtful design, and are guided by an appreciation for the rituals of the table - gathering, sharing, and slowing down. These values grew into a desire to create objects that honor those moments with care and intention.
Each tablecloth and napkin is designed in New York, where modern sensibilities learn from cultures around the world, and a love for timeless design shapes every detail. From there, our designs travel to Istanbul, a city with a long history of respect for handcraft, where skilled artisans bring each piece to life and embroider every detail by hand.
Solin is a play on on words rooted in sol, meaning sun, and inspired by the idea of letting the light in. The name reflects the Mediterranean sensiblity that marked my childhood, where long lunches, open tables, and shared meals were a way of life. We are deeply influenced by this culture of warmth, and we hope that these pieces bring that same sense of ease and connection to your table.
